Excellent food. It's a hopping place so get there early and make sure your entire party is with you in order to get seated. Great selection of Mexican food. Huge portions. Friends ordered the small nachos and it overloaded the plate. I ordered the flautas and was stuffed and didn't finish all the sides. Great salsa and chips. Make sure to ask for the flour chips if they have them. Everything is hand made, right down to the chips. Love that they give you salsa and beans and cheese dips but slow down or you can fill up on those alone because they will keep them coming.

The food is always good. Anything that I've ordered here is always good. If you've never been here, you will end up coming back. Its locally famous but people from out of town come here to dine as well. I always order to go but its got a great atmosphere if you plan to dine in. Try the chicken chile kiles< (i think i spelled it wrong,) theyre really good. Ive been eating here since i was a child, I am glad that this restaurant belongs to Pittsburg, its one our gems.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating for our large birthday group (with separate checks). The food was good...love the flour tortilla chips n salsa/bean dip.

They still serve decent food, but missing Guillermo is certainly affecting the true taste of the New Mecca. I've been eating here for the past 47years, sad too see the change and not be able to give the 5 stars the restaurant use to provide its patrons.

Always a great experience and I'm grateful they are doing take out. Missing our weekly meals here but am glad they are offering the same great service and smile when picking up our food.

O my gosh I LOVE the Mecca! I've been going to the Mecca since I was little! Highly recommend! Great food and great service! But just remember, they will not give you a seat unless your whole party is in attendance.

Frendly people and lots of incredible tasty food. Beautiful views for Pittsburgh downtown. If I will ever be able to cook Mexican, this is how I would like it to taste. The soup that comes as a combo.with the food tastes like my mom's. I was full before finishing half.

Definitely the best place for Mexican food in this part of East county. Not only for the food itself, which is fantastic... But for the ambiance. It is an institution going back many decades with a well-deserved reputation as being a hub of this area. So come for the food and enjoy being part of the community if only for an hour at a time.
